Basic information for penitentiary professionals and other interested bodies (prison services; probation services; supranational organizations, academics etc.)

For statistical data, you can use several different sources:

  • Basic statistics can be found on the main page (https://www.vscr.cz/en) below the main banner (picture)
  • Annually, the Czech Prison Service fills in the SPACE I questionnaire (Council of Europe Annual Penal Statistics). The questionnaire offers summarized data in the English language and you can compare the statistics with past values.
